Outdoor Movie Screen Rental in Indiana

Over 6 million people populate the Midwestern state of Indiana. They’re known for being friendly and active, although they are a diverse population with a variety of interests. Many of those interests involve being outdoors, taking advantage of the relatively wonderful Indiana weather. This is especially true during the late spring, summer, and early autumn months when the days are filled with sunshine and the nights are comfortably cool.

Indiana is home to a variety of different outdoor events. It is best known for the Indy 500 race which takes place there each spring, as well as the many smaller auto races that happen throughout the year in Indiana. To the north, people get outdoors and onto Lake Michigan for adventures on the water. Additional lakes are located all throughout the state, some of which are part of the 24 state parks which exist in Indiana. These all give people in Indiana a reason to enjoy the outdoors.

Within the cities are also a number of enjoyable outdoor events. Indianapolis is home to three sets of annual outdoor movie events. South Bend, Terre Haute and Lafayette have also been known to set up inflatable movie screens and host film nights in the park. These outdoor movie events are complimented with local musicians, artists and other performers who bring Indiana flair to the urban area.

Indianapolis

Indianapolis is both the capital and the largest city of Indiana. It is a Midwestern metropolitan area which already has much to offer and is growing with opportunities (and an influx of residents). During the summer, Indianapolis is a terrific place for getting outdoors, soaking up the sunshine and enjoying evening outdoor events.

There are three major outdoor movie events in Indianapolis, Indiana. Each of these events presents a little bit of a different side of Indianapolis. First, there are the outdoor movies at the Indianapolis Museum of Art. Modern art and old classic movies come together at this picnic-on-the-lawn event. History and modern life also merge at the outdoor movie events put on by the Indiana Historical Society.

Both of these outdoor movie events are fun but perhaps the favorite Indianapolis outdoor film event for both locals and visitors is the one hosted by the Indianapolis City Market. People go here not only to watch movies on the inflatable movie screens during the summer and fall but also to support local food growers who sell their products at the market. Other outdoor events at this location include outdoor music, carriage rides and holiday themed outdoor events.
